Thanks to the magic of Twitter, my tie photos travelled all the way to Ron Gilbert’s computer in San Francisco and he commissioned me to make one, Monkey Island themed. I chose this specific moment of Monkey Island 2 because, in the audio commentaries of the special edition, Ron defends this joke as the best in the game, whereas Tim Schafer says he doesn’t like it at all. Since they work together in Double Fine now, I hope Tim doesn’t hate me!
